In Three Acts: WHY NOT MORE?

Overview

In Three Acts is a music short film format that transforms albums into mini concept visual albums, selecting three songs to weave into one cohesive story. For Coco Jones’s Why Not More, the concept unfolds as a visual love story told through music and memory, exploring how love is found, how it is kept, and how it is chosen.

What makes this project singular is its use of Coco’s live performances. Raw, imperfect, and unfiltered, these renditions carry a texture and immediacy that cannot be replicated in a studio track, allowing the music to breathe and respond to the visuals in real time.

The short is structured in three acts using By Myself , Taste from her live Terrell Show performance, and Other Side of Love from her COLORS performance.

Two visual throughlines tie the story together: Coco’s presence, embedded in the world as subtle physical artifacts, and the cherry motif, an emblem of sweetness, sensuality, and memory. Together, they create a love story that is immediate, alive, and deeply human, resonating both within its own cinematic world and Coco’s artistic universe.
