Shell Shock

Overview

Shell Shock is a character-driven thriller that traces the unraveling bond between two best friends after a single pull of the trigger shatters their world. What begins as an act of self-defense spirals into a haunting reckoning, as the weight of violence, brotherhood, and trauma collide in a story about young Black men navigating survival and consequence.

The film subverts the familiar trappings of urban drama by delving into the psychological toll of violence and the intoxicating pull of power, identity, and fear. It is both intimate and explosive, placing the audience inside a destructive relationship between a man and his weapon, and the ripple effects it sends through friendship and community.

Told with raw immediacy and poetic intensity, Shell Shock is Boyz N the Hood meets Fight Club, a visceral and unflinching portrait of loyalty, love, and the haunting aftermath of a single moment.
