We, The Jury
Outline
We, The Jury is a scripted anthology series that pulls audiences into the closed doors of jury deliberations, where ordinary people weigh extraordinary cases. Each episode examines not only the facts of a trial but also the biases, perspectives, and lived experiences that influence judgment. The show asks a haunting question: is justice ever truly blind?
Subverting the familiar legal procedural, We, The Jury shifts the focus away from lawyers, judges, and defendants to spotlight the twelve strangers whose decisions determine fate. These stories unfold as self-contained, character-driven mini-films that move across eras, settings, and jurors, exploring the flaws of the legal system through fictionalized accounts of real-life cases.
Inspired by anthologies like Modern Love, Black Mirror, and Small Axe, the series marries the structure of prestige television with the tension of courtroom thrillers. By turning the lens toward those tasked with interpreting the law, it reveals deeper truths about power, prejudice, and the elusive nature of justice itself.
